About This Project

Vision and Mission

‘One To Another’ exists to improve the lives of poor and marginalized families in Pakistan by:

  • Providing education and training to equip and empower

  • Mobilizing human and material resources to create enterprise

  • Seeking spiritual wholeness for each individual

  • Pursuing sustainability for long-term success

How do we fulfill our vision and mission?
  • Victoria Memorial Hospital project in rural Multan

  • Rebuilding houses in the flood-affected region of Muzzafaragarh

  • Housing for poor Christian families in the city of Multan

  • Vocational training (electrical, carpentry, welding, sewing)

  • Microenterprises (donkey carts, rickshaws, sewing machines, other small businesses)

  • Mobile village medical camps

  • Supporting education (school fee sponsorship, resources)

  • Loving others as Christ loved us

Victoria Memorial Hospital

One to Another is working on a large project funded by Singapore Red Cross. Victoria Memorial Hospital (VMH) is a 752.5 square meter health facility in the area of Hameedtown on the outskirts of Multan. It is situated in a poor neighborhood with little access to health care. This will be a women’s and children’s clinic and a hospice /palliative care unit. The VMH has an outpatient clinic, labor ward, general ward, ultrasound room, minor surgery, pharmacy, classroom, and hospice ward.

Until now, no such facility exists in this area of Multan. This project has enormous possibilities for community outreach, job potential, and increased available healthcare.

Why give to this project?

Pakistan Flood Appeal 2022 - Disastrous Deluge

In June 2022, Pakistan endured severe monsoon weather since mid-June, with rainfall equivalent to 2.8 times its national 30-year average, causing widespread flooding and landslides and inducing displacement, especially in Balochistan and Sindh provinces.

Over 218,000 houses were destroyed and a further 452,000 damaged, according to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). Livelihoods were heavily impacted. More than 793,900 livestock, a critical source of sustenance and livelihoods for many families, died, of which nearly 63% in Balochistan and 25% in Punjab. Around two million acres of crops and orchards were impacted, including at least 304,000 in Balochistan, 178,000 in Punjab, and 1.54 million in Sindh.

With our local knowledge, past experience, and proximity to people in need, we are working to identify communities in need so that we can provide much-needed emergency relief. Victoria Memorial Hospital will visit affected areas and provide medical relief. We ask you to join in our efforts. Very little can go a long way.

Provisions for a Family of 6
  • 6-person tent: $45

  • Drinking water for one day: $6 (45 liters)

  • Food pack for one week: $25

  • General medicines: $10

One to Another helps by:
  • Read needs: Visiting areas without assistance, identifying actual needs and working with local government and NGOs to provide effective relief.

  • Relief distributions: Sourcing and delivering emergency relief supplies, such as water, food, and medicine.

  • Rehabilitation planning: Gathering information on what has been lost, assessing damage to homes, livestock, and crops, and finding solutions to help communities get back on their feet.
