Grant decisions will be based not only on the strength and impact potential of the project idea, but also on the size and capacity of the applicant organization, up to a maximum of 25% of the applicant’s previous year’s annual revenue. Larger organizations may be considered for higher funding levels, while smaller organizations may receive funding that aligns with their operational capacity.
Applicants are encouraged to request an amount that is appropriate to the scope of their proposed project.
Applicants should demonstrate how the requested funds will be used to meet the funding priorities of the program.
Allowable costs: Only expenses that further charitable purposes can be covered by the funding.
Non-allowable costs: Not all proposed expenses may be eligible for reimbursement. Only costs that align with the approved budget categories in the grant application and comply with the grant’s allowable expenses will be considered. Any expenses outside of these parameters may be deemed ineligible.
Disbursement process: The funds will be dispersed to your GC fund in November 2025 and sent to your ministry bank account upon request in accordance with your usual account disbursement guidelines.
Reporting requirements: Reporting to include a description of your programs: inputs, activities, outputs and outcomes (see glossary below). Additionally, we will be looking for a qualitative description of the impact along with testimonials, photos, videos and other media types as appropriate. Reporting frequency determined by the terms of the awarded grant, with a final report due within one month of project end date.
Monitoring and evaluation: What do outcomes mean? How will the applicant measure and evaluate project idea outcomes?
