With your support, Five & Two Network can help vulnerable communities move from a spirit of dependency to thriving and self-empowered. The goal is to fight poverty around the world with a radically different approach by tapping into community strengths instead of focusing on weaknesses. Five and Two has established a network in many countries and the list is growing: Angola, Burundi, Cameroon, Columbia, Congo, Iraq, Kenya, Laos, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Nepal, Philippines...and they are doing work right here at home in Canada too.
PC9icj4=Funding goes towards the following:Education and Training: Five & Two offers a series of ‘Community Centred Development’ courses that helps communities uncover their strengths and assets and sets them down a path of sustainable development.
Community Achievement Grants (CAGs): Small bursaries give entrepreneurs and community projects a boost. Five and Two supports projects such as community bakeries and health centres.
General Network Support: Five & Two walks ‘hand in hand’ with their partners and offers support every step of the way. The development path is never linear and Five & Two is always there as a resource.
