Word Made Flesh Sierra Leone seeks to holistically care for vulnerable children, youth, women and families from the Kroo Bay slum area of Freetown. We endeavor to serve Jesus among those struggling with poverty in order to bring holistic transformation of the Kroo Bay community.Our Ministry
Our focus is on education, discipleship, vocational training, basic healthcare, prevention of sexual abuse and relationship building. At our ministry center – located in the outskirts of Kroo Bay – vulnerable children, youth, and women are invited to share meals with us, receive educational and vocational training, and learn about God’s Word. On Saturdays, we host a Children’s Church (Good News Club) where 100 children join us for worship, Bible stories, first aid and nutritional snacks.Opportunity to Partner with Us
As we continue to accompany the poor in Kroo Bay, we would like to invite you to partner with us. Children in Kroo Bay often go hungry and don’t have opportunities to go to school because of poverty.
