PGJyLz4=PGJyLz4=UpdateTorchbearers Yamanakako (Capernwray Japan), a Christian Camp and Conference Centre nestled at the foot of Mount Fuji, is at risk of permanent shutdown due to COVID19 cancellations. The delightful cuisine, magnificent vistas of Mount Fuji, and most importantly the spiritual ministry of this Centre have made it a popular destination for church retreats, summer camps, mission groups, and youth ministries.Torchbearers Japan has been serving Churches and Christians from around the Tokyo area and around the world for over 35 years. The Spring term is an 8 week English speaking Bible school program which allows students to study God’s Word and live in community in a unique Japanese setting. Please partner with us to help keep the Frentz family serving in Japan and help prevent the Torchbearers Yamanakako Christian ministry Center from permanently shutting down!Urgent NeedsOur programs came to an abrupt halt in Spring 2020 when COVID19 hit the globe and travel restrictions prevented guests from visiting the Center. Now, as the pandemic persists gathering in groups is still not possible and it is looking like we may not have guests for the foreseeable future.Running an empty Center has left us in a very difficult financial situation. Our future is unknown, and our Board has been forced to consider a potential ministry shutdown. A ministry shutdown scenario would most likely end in a permanent shutdown.

Express the Life and Love of Jesus to Japanese who do not know Him yet.
Educate the Global Christian Community about the Spiritual needs of the Japanese people, enabling ministry to these dearly loved and deeply Spiritually needy people
