This model has proven to give maximum results as it is offering support in the psycho-emotional development of these children and at the same time, giving them the chance to a future. How do you see God working through your ministry?God cares for the orphans, and we see this happening every single day in our ministry. He gives us financial and material resources through people who hear our story, to address the needs of the children in our care, and gives us the necessary strength to continue and persevere in fulfilling our mission – to offer these children hope and a future. What challenges has God brought you through? We live in a country where government regulations can bring a lot of uncertainty and changes that shake the way we operate, such as the recent large increase in our fixed monthly costs: salaries, utilities, food, gas etc. God had miraculously provided the resources we needed. We pray in faith that He will continue to do the same in the months and years to come.Story of hope, faithfulness, and/or redemption.Krisztina is a 15 year old girl from Lisa Potts House, who is now the mother of a baby boy. Her birth mother left the family when she was 13. Her father was left to care alone for 6 children. This is her testimony: “From the age of 9 I had to take care of my 5 brothers - cook for them, take them to school, wash their clothes, and care for them in all aspects. It was challenging for me, and there were days when I had nothing to eat. Our father knew that he could not take care of us alone, so he called the Child Protection Services, and they came unexpectedly on February 16, 2021. We were taken to Caminul Felix and placed in Lisa Potts House. When we first saw our new parents – Ionut & Aura Hosu, we panicked. I didn't know where we were and what would happen to us. But when Ionut told us that he also grew up at Caminul Felix, we felt that the place we had arrived at was safe.”How have local or global events have impacted the ministry?Romania has a border with Ukraine. Over the past weeks, due to the Russian invasion, approximately 50-60 refugees per day (mostly women and children) seek shelter at Caminul Felix. We are 500 km away from the Siret/Porubne crossing point. They stay for a night or two and then continue their journey.Joining GCF is instrumental in supporting 5 of our 16 families from Trinity, Lisa Potts and Calvary Houses in Campus #2, as well as House 1 and House 5 in Campus #1, who care for 55 children.PGJyLz4=
