Ukraine Crisis Updatehttps://gcfcanada.comwp-content/uploads/2018/06/Mike-Sherbino-800x600-new.pngPGJyLz4=PGJyLz4=Two pastors have come into my path over the past 3 years, and it has been for such a time as this. Who could have predicted that a young Canadian pastor, who we will refer to as Pastor Paul, would go back to his native Ukraine to serve as a missionary? Pastor Paul sat in my office and shared of the hopes he had to minister in Ukraine. Who could have imagined what God was preparing him for. Along with his wife and two children they are currently driving the 500km into Kiev to bring gas and food to those who are staying in the city. Then on the return trip they are bringing as many refugees as possible. These refugees are being put up in his home and the church that he pastors. The emotional and physical hardships of the people of Ukraine are difficult for us to enter into - yet we must try. Together we can do something to give help and relief to those who are suffering. Then meet pastor Nick. Two years ago, I was with Nick and his wife in Israel in a gathering that only the Lord could have ordained. There we heard first hand accounts of their ministry in Ukraine and the blessing that they had been experiencing. Now they find themselves ministering in a similar way as pastor Paul is doing. Both in separate cities they are “doing what they can” to not just preach the Good News but to Be the Good News.” As one of these dear brothers said, “We are dealing with all sorts of emotions but we choose to be courageous,” reminding themselves that the Lord is with them.Prayer for people like Pastor Paul and Nick, their wives and children and the people of Ukraine. Pray for them as if it was you in their place.PGJyLz4=LEARN MORE PGJyLz4=
