In today’s world, many young women face immense pressures to conform to societal standards that often undermine their sense of worth and purpose. The need for Christian influence and resources tailored to empowering women has never been greater. Recognizing this gap, She Wears Worth was established as a faith-based ministry to inspire high school girls to embrace their God-given identities and understand their inherent value. Rooted in biblical principles, the ministry seeks to provide practical tools and a supportive community that encourage young women to live boldly and confidently in their faith.
A key initiative of She Wears Worth is its impactful biennial conference. These two-day events are thoughtfully designed to challenge and inspire girls to embrace their unique purpose in Christ. Their 2024 conference, themed "Unshakable," takes its foundation from Hebrews 12:27, highlighting resilience and steadfastness in faith amidst life’s challenges. Previous themes, like the 2022 "Set Apart" conference, emphasized the importance of rejecting societal conformity and embracing transformation through the renewal of the mind, as stated in Romans 12:2. These gatherings provide an invaluable space for young women to grow spiritually and connect with others on a similar journey.
Beyond conferences, She Wears Worth offers a wealth of resources to nurture spiritual growth and reinforce its message of inherent worth. Their "WHOA! What? Word." podcast delivers weekly encouragement and biblical insights on self-worth and identity. Additionally, the ministry provides downloadable materials and blog posts to support young women in their daily lives. These tools equip participants with practical ways to live out their faith and navigate the pressures of modern society.
She Wears Worth also fosters community engagement through sponsorship and volunteer opportunities. By sponsoring a girl’s attendance at the conference, supporters can remove financial barriers, ensuring that every young woman has the chance to experience this transformative event. Volunteers play an essential role in the success of the ministry’s programs, creating an environment of collaboration and encouragement. Together, these efforts amplify the ministry’s mission to uplift and empower the next generation of Christian women.
