The ministry of Creation Stewards International (CSI) is conducted on the campus of Moffat Bible College on the edge of the Rift Valley in Kijabe, Kenya.
Africa is the hungriest continent on the planet and people desperate for food often damage creation to survive. As this process continues, more damage to creation leads to more hunger.
CSI recognizes that Christ calls us to make disciples of all nations, to love our neighbors, and that he showed concern for both the spiritual and physical needs of people. Christ created all things (Col 1:16), and all people depend on healthy resources from His creation. To effectively love people suffering from hunger, we must become good stewards of creation.
People in Kenya are hungry for food and for the gospel, and the goal of CSI’s ministry is to bring the whole gospel to the whole person, blessing people both spiritually and physically. We want people to grow in Christ and to become good stewards of their land. By restoring their farms and forests people can restore their crop yields and overcome the struggles of hunger and poverty.
CSI works to disciple local farmers and to train quality Christian leaders who can plant a vision for Christ-centered creation stewardship into their own communities.
Prayer Request:
Pray for CSI to restore creation and meet physical needs so that more people in Kenya may hear and receive the gospel.
