About this Project

ALiVE Worship Ministry exists to help musicians and vocalists to advance in skills, and worship servants to serve in harmony through training and spiritual nurturing.  We believe renewing and building up worship teams will enrich worship services at church, where people can focus on God and engage with Him more deeply.

Our vision is to be a resource to build up worship servants, nurture the life of worshippers, and enrich the ministry of worship at churches. We desire to see every worship gathering be God-honoring and faith-deepening.

Our mission is to Encourage people who serve in worship ministry to serve with confidence and joy, fulfilling their God-given calling and purposes in the ministry; Empower worship servants through providing training, and gathering Christians to share and learn on topics of worship and Energize the life of worship through providing tools and resources for use in church worship, and personal devotion.

After 3 years of pandemic, many churches are seeing a decline in worship attendance and the enthusiasm of serving has diminished, leaving small and medium-sized churches facing great challenges. In the area or worship ministry, many are finding they do not have the adequate training to serve effectively, therefore impacting the quality of the overall worship experience.

And in the Canadian-Chinese churches, many are navigating the challenge between different cultures within the church: Chinese Canadians and Overseas newcomers; Immigrant Chinese and the 2nd generation Chinese, or the “1.5 generation”. Their cultures are diverse and it is difficult to integrate with each other especially in the area of worship, which have an unhealthy impact on the church.

Through ALiVE Worship Ministry, we seek to provide training and resources to help churches navigate through these challenges and renew and energize their life of worship.  We organize Worship Conference, Symposium, Workshop, Concert, as well as longer term Worship Team Coaching, Preaching and Adult Sunday School teaching on the topics of worship, for the local churches.
