About This Project

Christ City Church exists to reconnect people with God, help them discover their identity in Christ, and grow together in purpose and excellence. Our goal is to plant a vibrant, life-giving church in Woodstock, Ontario — one that nurtures spiritual growth, fosters authentic community, and empowers believers to live out their faith practically in their homes, workplaces, and neighborhoods. The ministry seeks to reach the unchurched, especially families, youth, and newcomers who may feel disconnected from faith or community. Through weekly worship gatherings, City Groups, discipleship programs, and outreach initiatives, we aim to create an environment where people encounter God’s love, discover purpose, and become agents of positive change in society. Over the next five years, our vision is to grow a healthy, self-sustaining church that multiplies leaders, serves the city, and expands to other regions of Ontario.

As a developing church plant, our key challenges fall into three areas:

• Financial limitations: As we prepare for our official launch in 2026, we are still securing funds for equipment, marketing, community engagement, and rental facilities.

• Team capacity and leadership development: While we have a growing team of passionate volunteers, there’s a need for structured leadership training and expanded capacity to sustain ministry operations.

• Community awareness: Building visibility and trust within a new community requires consistent outreach, brand excellence, and engagement resources, which can be costly and time-intensive.

To address these challenges, we are implementing a multi-phase strategy:

• Strengthening leadership pipelines through Growth Track and mentorship programs for volunteers and new leaders.

• Launching community connection initiatives, including interest parties, family outreach events, and social media campaigns to establish trust and presence in Woodstock.

• Partnering with experienced organizations such as ARC Canada and the Great Commission Foundation for training, compliance, and financial accountability.

We are seeking support to help fund essential areas such as venue rental, ministry materials, digital outreach, leadership training, and community engagement activities. Financial and technical support will empower us to serve more effectively, reach a broader audience, and fulfill our mission to see lives transformed through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
