About This Project

Goals — Fate Discepoli

To see the people of the Veneto encounter the real Jesus, know Him as the only path to salvation, and find freedom from the weight of trying to earn what only He can give.

  1. Evangelism

Share the gospel clearly and consistently with Italians who have not yet heard it, through intentional conversations, outreach events, and everyday relationships.

  2. Hospitality & Relationship

Open our lives and home to the people of the Veneto, building genuine friendships that create space for the gospel to take root.

  3. Discipleship

Walk alongside those who come to faith, helping them grow in their knowledge of Jesus and what it means to live as His follower.

  4. Church Connection

See new believers rooted in a local church body — connected, growing, and thriving in community with other believers.

  5. Resource & Equip

Produce and share resources — through writing, teaching, and the Fate Discepoli bookshop — that equip believers at every stage of their faith journey.

Northern Italy presents a unique missionary challenge — a culture where Catholic identity runs deep, Protestant faith is met with suspicion, secularism is rising among the young, and the evangelical church presence is small, meaning every relationship, every conversation, and every step forward must be built slowly, intentionally, and from the ground up.

Through faithful partnership with the local church, patient relationship-building, and genuine hospitality, Timothy and Lyndsay are laying the groundwork for lasting gospel impact — learning the language, earning trust, and walking alongside Italians in everyday life. This kind of slow, faithful work requires sustained support — first and foremost through prayer, and also through financial giving that supports the Stanleys' ability to remain on the field, resource their ministry, and work toward their goal of providing free printed resources in Italian to the people they serve.
