The goal of Freedom 8848 is to further God's Kingdom by providing education and advocacy in the prevention of and fight against Sex Trafficking. We accomplish this by providing seminars, online learning tools, and educational activities hiking in the mountains in Alberta. We believe God wants us to fight for Justice for His people and that true freedom only comes from faith in His son Jesus Christ.
Our biggest challenge is financial. We have a strong core of dedicated volunteers who give their time and talents generously to the cause. We offer our online services and seminars free of charge to reach the biggest audience possible, but their is a cost to produce and deliver them.
We handle most of our challenges by relying heavily on volunteer labour, and being laser-focusted on keeping costs low. The remaining unavoidable costs are handled through donations from our dedicated supporters.
