About This Project

Haddon Institute aims to advance the Christian religion through providing distinctly reformed educational courses for the Australian community that is historically accurate and contemporarily relevant. Haddon Institute is dedicated to equipping men for the pulpit, plant churches, support lay leaders, and God's elect to serve Christ's church in Australia and beyond. Guided by the Second London Baptist Confession of Faith (1689) and inspired by Charles Haddon Spurgeon's passion for gospel proclamation, our vision is to see the Australian Church fear and behold the majesty of the Lord Jesus Christ in all His offices, through all His means, for His glory across generations. Haddon Institute serves the great commission through provising robust, reformed theological education through the following means:

  • Academic Programs: Haddon currently offers MA and BA programs accredited through PRTS, as well as unaccredited short courses - which are the bedrock of the institute's impact.

  • Spurgeon Conference: Haddon hosts an annual Spurgeon Conference, through which primarily pastors are invited to participate in transformative seminars and workshops to be strengthened and sharpened for Gospel-driven ministry across their unique contexts.

  • Haddon Institute Research Journal: Haddon's academic journal aims to pioneer the landscape through robust scholarship that shapes praxis.
