Kathmandu Worship School exists to equip and sustain young leaders from churches across Nepal through Christ-centered training, mentoring, and spiritual support. In partnership with The Great Commission Foundation, our mission is to develop spiritually mature, skilled, and servant-hearted leaders who can effectively serve their local churches and communities.
We provide holistic training that includes biblical teaching, discipleship, leadership development, life skills, and musical instruction. Each year, we train 18–20 youth from different parts of Nepal, helping them grow spiritually while developing practical ministry skills. Beyond our residential program, we equip over 200 believers and more than 100 leaders annually through leadership and discipleship training across regions including Rolpa, Sindupalchok, Chitwan, Butwal, and Kathmandu.
We continue to support alumni through pastoral visits, encouragement, and prayer, strengthening their long-term ministry impact. Our ministry also engages in respectful outreach among Hindu and Buddhist communities and supports rural churches through teaching, financial assistance, and prayer. In addition, we bless more than 150 children in remote areas each year with food, school supplies, and essential items—demonstrating Christ’s love in tangible ways.
Our ultimate goal is to see strong local churches led by well-trained, Christ-centered leaders who bring lasting spiritual transformation throughout Nepal.
As the ministry grows, we face financial and structural challenges. Many of our students come from underprivileged backgrounds and cannot fully cover training and accommodation costs. Ongoing operational expenses—such as rent, utilities, staff support, travel for rural ministry, and facility maintenance—continue to increase.
Nepal’s geography makes travel to remote areas both costly and time-consuming, yet essential for leadership training and alumni support. Additionally, operating from rented facilities limits our capacity. We lack sufficient classroom space, practice areas, and stable accommodation for students, which restricts growth and long-term planning.
We are responding through careful financial stewardship, prayerful planning, and strengthening partnerships with churches and supporters who share our vision.
A key part of our future vision is to build a permanent ministry facility. This building will provide proper classrooms, worship and practice spaces, offices, and safe, affordable accommodation for students. A dedicated campus will create a healthy learning and working environment while reducing long-term rental costs and allowing us to expand our impact.
To move forward, we need faithful financial partners to support student sponsorships, operational needs, and the development of our future building. We also welcome prayer support and ministry partnerships.
With continued support, Kathmandu Worship School will continue raising Christ-centered leaders and strengthening the Church across Nepal for generations to come.
