About this Project
Kylee is a teacher serving with Good Shepherd’s Fold in Uganda to provide quality Christian education and mentorship to students from missionary families. After previously serving in Uganda for two and a half years and with experience teaching in the Christian education system, two of her passions come together through this opportunity! Kylee loves pouring into the younger generation, educating with a holistic approach, and continually learning more about poverty alleviation and our call to action!
Living on the mission field comes with unique challenges, with children’s education being the second leading cause for families to leave the field. Providing quality education and discipleship to children from missionary families supports the greater mission and impact taking place in the Jinja area. Furthermore, she continues the momentum forward by preparing the next generation to serve Jesus passionately wherever He leads them!
Kylee is excited to live on the GSF campus and engage and build relationships with the staff and local community. On campus, in the village of Buwundo, GSF has a nursery and primary school, a special education program, and nine family-style orphanage homes in addition to the international school.
