About This Project

Purpose
  • Work with Hope Africa Collective to equip impoverished communities with faith-based resources and entrepreneurial skills to break out of generational poverty. We long to see the widespread cycle of generational poverty end through teaching a generation how to be empowered to make choices to leave their situation.

  • Partner with local churches to see the city of Cape Town transformed through prayer, worship, and outreach. We believe in the transformational power of prayer and His presence, and our goal is to partner with God and local churches daily to see His will be done in Cape Town.

  • See God’s Kingdom expand through discipleship - we want to walk closely with new Christians that they would be built up with their strength in the Lord and with a heart for their city and other people to also come to know God as their Savior.

The Challenge

The need in Cape Town far outweighs the resources of ministries to create lasting change. An estimated 2.5 million people live in impoverished townships throughout the city with much need. Temporary relief can be more easily achieved, but our goal and mission of lasting and transformational change is not easily obtained or sustained. We face a lack of resources, as well as the practical inability due to racial tension to get safely into most of these communities that have much need and desperation. In addition, not all hearts are open to change to neither their spiritual life or their way of life.

How can you help?

We are starting with what we have, which is our yes, and the team and resources are already in place through Hope Africa Collective. We are partnering with God through prayer for His increase of staff, resources, finances, and impoverished families who’s hearts are open and prepared to do the work that is required to create change in their lives. We are equipping ourselves with cultural knowledge and practical tools and knowledge to best reach people where they are.
