Bolivia has one of the highest rates of violence towards women in Latin America. 70% of Bolivian women are survivors of sexual or physical violence. When violence and poverty are high, women and girls are the most vulnerable to exploitation.
Project Suma combats sexual exploitation by accompanying victims, creating opportunities and influencing our context to bring about deep and lasting change. We do this with the goal of reducing the physical, spiritual, economic and social vulnerability of sexually exploited women and their children, facilitating access to opportunities for abundant living.
