At Reconciliation Road Church, our purpose is to see all people reconciled to God through faith in Jesus Christ and to one another through the power of the Gospel. Rooted in 2 Corinthians 5:14–21, we are a non-racial, multi-cultural, and class-crossing community devoted to making disciples who make disciples. We believe reconciliation is both a moment and a lifelong journey, and we exist to be a people and place of healing, transformation, and mission.
Our ministry is shaped by a passion for God, radical love for people, and a commitment to multiplication—raising disciples and planting churches that advance God’s Kingdom. We seek to be faithful to Scripture while remaining relevant to the unique needs of our South African context. We aim to live out our DNA through worship, prayer, holiness, and by being God’s ambassadors of reconciliation in a broken world.
We minister in a nation still marked by deep racial, social, and economic divides. Building true unity in diversity requires ongoing intentionality, grace, and truth. It is a slow and sacrificial journey. Additionally, mobilising people for mission in all spheres of life—and across generations—requires significant equipping and support. The weight of spiritual formation, discipleship, leadership development, and church planting is both exciting and demanding.
We also face practical challenges: financial constraints, a growing need for more leaders, and the demands of nurturing a growing and diverse congregation while holding fast to one shared vision. In an age of increasing secularism and spiritual apathy, we must continue to call people into devoted, Christ-centered living while offering shelter and hope to the weak, the broken, and the seeking.
We are addressing these challenges by anchoring ourselves in prayer, Scripture, and the power of the Holy Spirit. We are creating spaces for healing, discipleship, and release—helping people discover their God-given gifts and step into their callings. We are committed to multiplying leaders, equipping every believer for ministry, and fostering genuine, reconciled community.
To continue this mission, we need committed prayer partners, financial support, and people willing to serve alongside us. We invite those who are passionate about God’s glory, Gospel-centered reconciliation, and the multiplication of disciples to join us—whether through giving, praying, partnering, or going. Together, we can continue to walk this road of reconciliation and mission, seeing God’s Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.
