Joelle Loewen is working in Tarija, Bolivia in women’s ministries. She is providing discipleship as a means of instilling identity in women who are being oppressed within their own families and social environments. Domestic abuse affects 50-85% of single, married and divorced women. Due to a lack of programs and personal support these women continue to believe the lie that they are not worth anything. These beliefs affect the women around them, their children and grandchildren, and the cycle continues. Join me in building these women’s identity in Christ so that they may be set free from their victim mentalities as they discover who they are meant to be.
