Tamani Children House Project

TAMANI means, “Desire” in the native language of Kiswahili. The Tamani-Kenya organization started in the year 2006 August. The organization, which is based on Christian values, deals with various developmental projects that better the lives of not only underprivileged children, but also of women in the various communities that we are based in. We are majorly based in Mukuru Kwa Njenga slums, which is in Embakasi ward, Nairobi County, as well as Isinya town, Kajiado County. There are certain major projects that we run. These include; shelter, rescue (temporary custody), education, infant care and counseling services.

Tamani Children House is registered group in Canada, Set to raise funds to support Children of Tamani Home in Kenya and support for the community.
