About This Project
Tin House Canada’s mission is simple: Bring hope, help, and healing, to a hurting world. We are proud to work with individuals, organizations and groups to raise funds for local and global initiatives. We work locally and globally to help reduce poverty and bring essential needs to orphans, widows, and the impoverished all while striving to assist those in need to live with Hope.
Poverty Projects: Tin House Canada supports a number of very worthy causes throughout Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe. Schools for AIDS orphans in Burkina Faso; Medical clinics in Rwanda; Schools for the Blind in India; Feeding programs; Widows and orphans relief programs; Natural disaster rebuilding initiatives; And much more…
Northern Ireland: Tin House Canada has a special place in its heart for Northern Ireland. This tiny country has been torn apart by 30 years of violent conflict that has seen thousands killed, tens of thousands maimed and injured, and sectarian violence building walls separating communities. We are excited to work in Northern Ireland with retreats, conferences and reducing risk factors with troubled youth.
