About This Project
We believe that every human being on earth should get the opportunity to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ and to have abundant and nourishing food each day of their life.
Our focus is to provide infrastructure development and education of agricultural technologies and new farming practices so that those we teach are equipped to teach others in their remote villages to do it too. We provide 20L pail drip irrigation kits to subsistent farm families, so they can grow nutritious, organic food that they harvest daily to feed their families. The training we provide teaches these farm families how to grow a vegetable garden organically using continuous cropping methods along with proper crop rotation to rebuild and enhance soils.
We face a high demand for pail kit donors. The simplicity of the program makes a teacher out of every recipient farm family. In virtually every village where a family has received a kit the entire village has learned the program within the time it takes to harvest the first plant. Neighbours yearn for their own kits as they just know if they were to receive one, they too would have food security for their family.
One of our first trainees, after taking the classroom lessons, told our instructor, “This program is not too big for us to understand. We can do this.” They have indeed done it. They are feeding themselves and sharing with others around them.
Why give to this project?
We need donors to buy pail kits one family at a time. The recipient families in our program never beg for food again. It is truly amazing. God is doing miraculous work in their lives.
