About This Project
Even though the church knows it is the heart of God to love their neighbour well, it is busy, without the capacity to think about or the tools to know how to help people sustainably. This is a problem for people who are struggling inside the church and the vulnerable people in our communities. They are often forgotten, left alone and stressed, longing for the love of God when they need it most.
Arise - Canada wants to see churches joyfully and confidently caring for people in ways that lead to lasting transformation. We desire to guide churches to clarity and the tools to empower them to support their neighbours tangibly, relationally, and spiritually. We plan to do this through a yearly conference in different parts of the country each year, a website with resources, and a personal guide for church leaders.
