About This Project

Touch of Grace Missions preaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ through various aspects of Biblical Studies, Planting churches, establishing and teaching well water programs.

As well we provide disaster recovery and relief programs.  Catanduanes is common to super typhoons, often leaving the island devastated every 2-3 years. We are aiming to develop a ministry relief program so our organization can be immediate responders following a typhoon.

After nearly thirty years of missions, it has been a concern how we can be first responders to those directly affected by the impact of super typhoons. Due to the low economic infrastructure of this predominate agriculture island, most homes are of light weight materials leaving many without adequate shelter in the aftermath of the storm. Additionally, many of their personal and home goods are gone making it difficult to recover. It is often days up to a few weeks for government and NGO agencies to adequately set up humanitarian aid for those in need.

Why give to this project?

It’s difficult for Touch of Grace Missions to be a frontline responder when construction supplies, food, water, and medical supplies are in high supply and demand after a storm has passed the region. The aftermath of such a typhoon limits all goods coming in from the mainland if the magnitude of the storm hits several regions before leaving the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

We are presently renting a facility so we can begin stocking readiness goods and supplies far in advance to the coming typhoon season generally starting in late September and continuing to late December.

It takes a year to fund a single season of disaster relief for our target group of 500 Christian Church families. You can begin now and partner with the ministry to raise funds to restore hope as we continue to reach out to families with the love of Christ and His Good News. A New year is at hand and with the helping hands of others, we can put it into the hands of those in need.
