About This Partner

Blessing the Children International is a faith-based ministry dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children and families in Ethiopia - physically, spiritually, and socially. Through education, nutrition programs, child sponsorship, and community development, the ministry works to break cycles of poverty and raise up the next generation with hope and purpose. Alongside this, Blessing the Children partners with Numan Ministries, which operates as a vital outreach arm, equipping indigenous Ethiopian pastors to share the Gospel within unreached communities, plant house churches, and disciple new believers - one life at a time.

Despite the impact, the needs remain urgent. Many children still lack consistent access to education, proper nutrition, and basic healthcare. Families face ongoing economic hardship, and preventable health issues often go untreated due to limited medical services. At the same time, Numan Ministries is experiencing rapid growth, with hundreds of house churches and thousands coming to faith - yet pastors face significant barriers, including long travel distances, lack of transportation, and limited financial support to sustain their families and ministry work.

To address these challenges, Blessing the Children continues to expand its programs by strengthening school systems, increasing sponsorship opportunities, and advancing the development of a much-needed medical center in Bishoftu. Food security efforts, including the shipment of food and humanitarian aid containers, help meet immediate needs while long-term solutions are built. Numan Ministries is responding by training and supporting local pastors, providing discipleship resources, and building relational networks within communities.

However, the need for partnership is critical. The ministry requires financial support for child sponsorships, medical center completion, food distribution, and pastor support. Practical needs include funding for transportation, medical equipment, educational supplies, and ongoing operational support. Prayer, advocacy, and committed partnerships are essential to sustain and grow this work.
