About This Partner

The Christian Education Center (CEC) is a non-denominational Bible training ministry located in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico.

OUR VISION:

To collaborate with the church in fulfilling the Great Commission through followers of Jesus, empowered by the Scriptures.

OUR MISSION:

To provide access to biblical training to equip and train inspired workers to live and proclaim the Gospel in their families, churches, and communities.

CORE VALUES

• The Bible: Our definitive authority and absolute guide from God, the revelation of Christ from Genesis to Revelation. (Gospel-Centered)

• A personal relationship with God: Knowing Christ intimately and personally, being shaped by Him. (Christocentric)

• Community: Growing in a family environment, learning in love, and building one another up.

• The local church: Partnering in love with local congregations, training workers to serve in their churches.

• Discipleship: To be transformed into the character of Christ and to guide others to grow in their personal relationship with Him.

OBJECTIVES

• To work with men and women called by God to His work, willing to be transformed into servant leaders.

• To offer an intensive in-person course in Bible teaching and theoretical and practical training for ministry.

• To support local churches through conferences and Bible teachings, both on and off campus.

• To maintain relationships with alumni through fellowship and visits.

• To create and maintain a close relationship with pastors and leaders associated with the ministry.

The CEC team in Mexico are grateful for our Canadian and American partners who have and will, come alongside the ministry for the advancement of the gospel. Partnership is a wonderful means by which God uses different individuals in His kingdom to band together for a common goal and purpose. We are so thankful to God for those who have partnered with CEC, joining us in the race as we set out to serve God in obedience with what He has called us to do. If not for those who so graciously give towards the ministry, we would cease to exist.

Here is an overview of the project opportunities you can help with:

1. Ongoing Monthly Support For our Mexican Staff: God has blessed us with an amazing team. We support 5 nationals - 3 full-time staff + 2 part-time. Only through the generosity of our partners are we able to care financially for our Mexican team members. The ongoing monthly support needed to pay our staff -  $4,000.00 USD

2. Support a Student: We raise 90% of the tuition cost for every student that comes to our 15-week course. Cost per student – $1,500.00 USD

3. Various Ongoing Expenses: Such as utilities, maintenance, vehicle expenses, food, etc.
