Greater Vancouver Youth Unlimited has been working with youth for 77 years, and have been actively focused on supporting at-risk and vulnerable youth for over three decades in Vancouver and its surrounding communities in British Columbia, Canada.

A place of connection and transformation, Youth Unlimited helps young people discover their potential. If they feel alone, marginalized, vulnerable or just need somewhere fun but safe to connect to, we are here to walk with them, help them learn life skills and support their growth as a person.

We are a community of youth workers and support staff who meet vulnerable youth where they are at, serving in communities across Greater Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. While we run dozens of diverse programs, our primary goal is to build connected, caring relationships -- the epicenter of true transformation. Our goal is to support without judgement and to love like Jesus loved.

Many of the youth we work with come from adverse situations and backgrounds, such as single parent homes, street involvement, low-income families, mental illness and drug addiction. Many more are on the cusp of falling through the cracks. It’s our job to come alongside each of these youth to show them that they matter and that they can succeed, while providing tangible support and resources to help them along their journey.

While we preach people over programs, our programs enable our youth workers to build strong connections with our youth. These programs include providing meals and emergency relief; sports and coaching; theater and art programs; leadership development; support and training for young parents, support for those impacted by foster care or the juvenile detention system, innovative drop-in centers and so many more.

Our prayer is to see bonds broken, healthy relationships formed, and ultimately, transformed lives.
