Armenia, like most of the world, is facing the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, especially economically. Not only that, but Armenia faces continued attacks from Azerbaijan – which is backed by Turkey – and almost every family has lost someone they love. Largely outnumbered by their enemies, Armenians are struggling to hold on to hope. These traumas have caused many to become closed towards anything to do with God, while others are more open through these difficulties.
We also engage with people in neighbouring countries through video calls and help them learn English as this is a big need in their countries. This leads to deeper relationships and we have had the opportunity to lead them towards knowing and following God.
The biggest need is for people to know God and know how to follow Him in the midst of all this. We are focusing on building quality relationships with non-believers using two methods; we demonstrate the subtleties of a Godly life through love and friendship, and we find opportunities to relate stories from the Bible to important things in their lives. God is speaking to these people through the stories we share and they are being drawn to Him. We are establishing trust in God and those who follow Him. They are engaging in Bible studies and actively obeying what they read. It is especially amazing to see non-believers engage with the Word and learn to obey God – even before they are “Christians.”
Vision:
Our vision is to obey the Great Commission by making disciples that multiply, among people from Armenia and surrounding nations.
Mission:
Engaging the lost
– Building meaningful relationships that lead to discovering God
– Responding to practical needs
– Facilitating the Discovery of Bible Studies among non-believers
Mobilizing prayer
– Developing prayer partnerships with believers around the world
– Facilitating strategic prayer meetings locally and globally
– Multiplying and coaching prayer habits among believers
Mobilizing believers in the above
– Facilitating disciple-making communities
– Coaching and training
– Modeling the lifestyle of a disciple-maker
Your donations make it possible for us to meet the practical needs of lost people while helping us put all of our time towards disciple-making, and engaging the lost. What we want to see is multiplication movements among these people and we can’t do that without the power of God, and large amounts of prayer! Would you partner with us through prayer and finances?
