Lift Off furthers the Great Commission by promoting whole-life flourishing and retention of those who enter missions single, both men and women. Shaped by a holistic, organizational perspective, Lift Off promotes healthy gender demographics, culture/beliefs, and organizational structures with reference to singleness, by means of creative initiatives with special focus on research.
By awarding research grants, Lift Off enables critical research to happen, thus creating a body of knowledge for well-grounded decisions. In this way, Lift Off resources agencies to better retain good people, attract many more, and support the natural generational growth of the Great Commission workforce – in turn furthering the spread of the Good News to the nations.
We anticipate awarding the first research grant(s) in 2027, once legalities are in place. In the meantime, we are seeking substantial grant funding (foundations, corporations, individuals), well-qualified researchers, and interested others with academic research, consulting, and/or practical strengths (including fundraising). We also welcome single (and single-experienced) global workers, both men and women, bringing insights from critical reflection on their experience.
