About This Partner

Many men have learned how to make a living, but not how to live in the freedom, power, and love that Jesus offers. This ministry of discipleship and addiction recovery for men is so needed today, maybe now more than ever before!. Most men don't have close male friends, and most Christian men have never truly been discipled life on life.

Life-on-life discipleship (Matthew 28-18-20 and 1 Thessalonians 2:7,8,11 & 12) focuses on helping men apply God's Word to areas of need and areas of brokenness in their lives. These are areas where they don't realize that they are not connecting with the Lord. Most times, they also don't realize their fundamental need for community and relationship.

Men need to be discipled because we are ALL broken. We ALL need a Savior. This doesn't just come at our initial point of salvation, but every day thereafter. We need to learn to trust the Holy Spirit to be our empowerment. We need to trust the Holy Spirit to be able to value highly and live out our true identity in Christ. We also need to learn how to resist the enemy in the daily spiritual battles we face.

I usually meet with 25 guys or so each week. In our time together, I try to help them learn how to yield to the Holy Spirit, and how they can spiritually multiply their ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5: 18-20) within the commitment to Christian community.
