WEC Mexico, a branch of the WEC International (Worldwide Evangelization for Christ), partners with Mexican churches to form disciples, develop healthy missional churches, and train in cross-cultural missions.
We focus on reaching the least-reached peoples by mobilizing, training, and sending church planters around the world. Our multi-ministry center, El Monte, in south-central Mexico, serves local churches and runs evangelistic camps, focusing on evangelism, discipleship, and training. El Monte also offers a formal missionary training school teaching Bible, missiology, and English for missionaries.
Thousands of people groups worldwide have never heard of Jesus; they are unaware of God’s love and saving grace. God is inspiring Mexican churches to focus on the lost and fulfill the Great Commission. Our missions team travels across Mexico, building relationships with local churches, denominations, pastors, and pastor alliances. They provide seminars and work individually with missionary candidates, their pastors, and sending churches. Additionally, WEC Mexico has formal agreements with two evangelical denominations to develop and teach four-year degrees in cross-cultural missions in their seminaries.
The concept of local churches sending and financially supporting cross-cultural missionaries is still new and not well understood. Most churches are small congregations that struggle to pay even a partial salary to their pastors. Supporting a missionary abroad often costs several times more than their pastor's salary. The task is immense, and the need is great.
As we trust God to meet our needs, your prayer and participation would provide relief, address critical needs, and make a difference. Financially supporting and sending trained Mexican missionaries is essential to meeting the global demand for workers. Equally important is funding the mobilization ministry's costs. Additionally, support is essential to build and grow the El Monte multi-ministry center for discipleship and training through Christian camping and the missionary training school. We earnestly seek your prayers for these efforts. If you choose to participate financially, your donation will make a significant impact
